My name is Kate O'Mahony. I recently completed my studies for my BA(hons) in Fashion Design in the Limerick School of Art and Design, Limerick Institute of Technology, Ireland. I am currently studying for a masters in Fashion Design in the American College Dublin in collaboration with the Grafton Academy, part time.
I have a variety of creative design skills, along with excellent technical and sewing skills.
My skills include use of Industrial sewing machines, Domestic sewing Machines,
Pattern Drafting , Manual Grading and Tech Pack.
I am also proficient in Adobe photoshop, Illustrator and Gerber Technology.
I have previous experience interning for the Irish bespoke designer Johanne Maria King working on patterns
and fitting for each client for the summer of 2018.
I also have worked backstage for fashion shows and events, including the international Rose of Tralee Shows, for the Holman-Lee Agency, within this job I have dressed models, organized clothing and props, presented for competitions, over the past few years.
